Steve is responsible for eBay’s newly formed group acting as the center of innovation, including creating new businesses, supporting both the eBay Marketplaces businesses and eBay at a corporate level. Steve was previously responsible for eBay’s mobile business and product development worldwide on device platforms such as the iPhone, iPad, RIM, Android, tablet and mobile web. Transforming eBay mobile into the worlds largest m-commerce player in 2009, 2010 and will finish 2011 with approximately $5B through eBay’s mobile footprint and over 58 million downloads globally.
Before eBay, Steve was Adobe’s Entrepreneur in Residence where he Created an Adobe seed project targeted at knowledge and information workers. Before Adobe, he was the founder/CEO/CTO of Movaris an Enterprise BPM software company that saw a 10 year run before being acquired. Over a 28 year career Steve went from CPU designer, to software architect and start-up entrepreneur to Fortune 500 company executive. When Steve isn’t busy tinkering with technology, he enjoys building and driving fast cars.
